We design lighting around the music. From the first ideas in the studio to the final cue on stage, we bring lighting design, programming, and live operation to festivals and artist shows around the world.

Our work at Defqon.1 extends beyond the RED stage. Along with the mainstage lighting, we program the festival’s site lighting to become part of the show. During 4444 OF A KIND, colors and cues reach across the grounds, bringing the whole site into the performance.

About us
We’re Happy Technology. We design, program, and operate lighting for festivals, artists, and live shows.
We start with the music. We listen, try ideas, and keep working until the lighting feels right. Sometimes we light up an entire festival site. Other times, we bring everything down to one person on stage. Knowing when to do each is part of what we love about the work.
Our team handles lighting design, visualization, programming, and live operation. We’re there in the studio, through rehearsals, and at the lighting console when the show begins.
